Fragment of a ship flag, upper right-hand corner, painted on one side. In the middle is a crowned coat of arms (probably of Leon and Castille) with the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece on a ragged red cross. To the fly is a Corinthian pillar surrounded by a scroll with the inscription.
This flag probably bears the emblems of the Albert VII, Archduke of Austria and Archduchess Isabella Clara Eugenia of the Southern Netherlands (r. 1598-1621).
