Silver medal with recto in profile the head of king Victor Emanuel II of Italy, and on verso inscriptions in a border with trophies, foliage and other decorations. The medal has a red leather octagonal case (NG-MC-1376-A) with an inscription in gold.
The Department of the Navy received this medal for its participation in the 1871 Esposizione Internazionale d’Industrie Marittime in Naples.1
