Two instruction models (NG-MC-115-A and NG-MC-115-B) showing the diagonal framing between the gun ports, according to the design by the British naval architect Robert Seppings (1767-1840). The models consist of two ceiling beams with gun ports and diagonal trussing in between.
Although Obreen mentions only one model,1 two have been found. One or both models were probably made for the committee examining the British naval architecture in 1822.2
