Together these product photographs make up a catalogue of the machines and structures manufactured by the Braat Machine Factory on Java from 1930. The products were destined for colonial enterprises. We also see Indonesian factory workers in the photographs, but they serve merely as ‘measuring instruments’ to indicate the scale of the machines.
