Description

Zes Hollandse mannen (tulband op, grote neuzen) keuren (ruikend) in een Chinees pakhuis in Kanton de thee uit rieten manden, op de voorgrond een gevlekte hond. De voorstelling bovenaan afgesloten door de rand van een dak. Onderdeel van een groep van vier gouaches over de productie en export van Chinese thee door de VOC rond 1750.
