Description

Plaat van faience. De muze Kalliope toont een banderol met de tekst: Ego Musarum Sacerdos. Voor haar liggen geschriften: de Metamorfosen, Aeneis, de Odyssee en Horatius. In haar hand houdt zij haar attribuut de trompet vast. Op haar hoofd een lauwerkrans.
