This goblet’s form, with alternating knobs and discs, betrays its Nuremberg origins. Nuremberg was a centre for glass art. Not only the glass but also the engraving was done in that city. The green colour of the glass complements the engraved scene of a forest. Between the trees, beaters are driving game towards hunters.
