Kraag van linnen en naturelkleurige kloskant: Van Dyck-kant. Om de bef twee kantstroken, beide versierd met een patroon van bloempotten. In het midden van de boord de initialen IW (Jacob van Wassenaer).

Explanatory note

Op een bij de kraag gevoegde notitie van D.L.Gr. douairière Van Wassenaer-Gosling uit 1767 staat geschreven dat de kraag van admiraal Jacob van Wassenaer (1547-1623) zou zijn geweest. Aannemelijker is dat de kraag werd gemaakt voor admiraal Jacob van Wassenaer van Kernheim van Obdam (1610-1665), vanwege het bloempotpatroon dat rond 1630 in de mode was.
