Description

De vrouw is frontaal geplaatst, het hoofd iets naar links. Het in het midden gescheiden haar valt aan weerszijden van het vlezige gelaat in kleine krulletjes tot op de schouders; op het achterhoofd is een vlecht in een krans gelegd. Ze draagt een japon met een diepe, rechthoekige halsuitsnijding, waaruit een hemd te voorschijn komt, dat langs de hals met een brede kantstrook is afgezet. Op de borst is het ene uiteinde van een sjerp gestrikt en vastgespeld met een camee, waarop het profielportret van haar echtgenoot is aangebracht. Het andere, langste deel van de sjerp is langs de rug gedrapeerd en eindigt op de rechterschouder. Op geprofileerd, ingezwenkt voetstuk.
