Coffee and tea service, Ansbach, 1785
This is one of the most extensive coffee and tea services that the Hague porcelainfactory could supply. It consists of a coffee pot and a teapot, cups and saucers for coffee and tea, a milk jug, sugar bowl, slop bowl and a drip catcher (pattipan). The porcelain made in Ansbach was based on models from the Meissen porcelain factory. The reddish-purple decoration of putti was applied in The Hague.
