Gezicht op fort Nassau, ca. 1636-1644. In de lucht een gevleugelde banderol met de titel. In het onderschrift de verklaring van de letters A-E in het Latijn. Plaat [nr. 23] in een serie van 55 voorstellingen van de tocht naar en het verblijf in Brazilië van graaf Johan Maurits van Nassau in de jaren 1636-1644.
