Vase and Bowl, anonymous, 618 - 960

vitrification, h 6.3cm × w 17.7cm More details

The vase and bowl are made of white, porcelain-like stoneware and coated with a translucent, greyish green glaze. The bottom of the vase is unglazed, suggesting a method whereby the vase was inverted and dipped into a glaze bath. Its shape harks back to objects made of glass and metal.
