Description

Deksel van peervormige melkkan van porselein met c-vormig oor en driehoekige tuit, beschilderd op het glazuur in blauw, rood, roze, groen, geel, zwart en goud. Deksel met twee pioentakken en op de rand een band met krulwerk. Deksel niet bijpassend. Europese voorstelling in emailkleuren.

Explanatory note

De monogrammen 'MVA' en 'CHTD' staan voor Maurits van Aerden (1694-1746) en Constantia Helena ten Damme (1694-1772), getrouwd in 1716. Het servies is waarschijnlijk besteld ter ere van hun vijfentwingtigjarig huwelijksjubileum in 1741.
