This hexagonal teapot is decorated with a profusion of auspicious motifs. The handle features two dragons chasing a pearl in the clouds. The cover’s knop takes the form of a reclining lion, while the spout commences with a dragon’s head. The six surrounding panels tell the tale of Kuixing, the deity associated with literature and examinations.
