Description

Schotel van porselein, beschilderd op het glazuur in blauw, rood, roze, groen, geel, zwart en goud. Op de voorzijde in de wolken is Venus afgebeeld, gezeten in een wagen die wordt getrokken door twee duiven. Voor haar staat Cupido, die zijn pijlen naar beneden richt. Beneden staat Minerva, beschermster van de kunsten, wetenschappen, handwerk en krijgsgodin. Met een schild en een lans in haar handen beschermt zij een soldaat, slapend in een landschap, tegen de pijlen van Cupido. Europese voorstelling in emailkleuren.
