Description

Waaiervormige bak van steengoed, beschilderd op het glazuur in blauw, rood, groen, geel, bruin, zwart en goud. De ene helft van de bodem met gemodelleerde ribben, de andere helft is glad. Op de gladde helft een persoon met een bezem bladeren vegend voor een bouwwerk en bloeiende planten (esdoorn?). De andere helft met twee vogels op een bloeiende plant bij een bouwwerk. Hieronder verticale, decoratieve banden. Drie oude labels op de onderzijde met 'Owari. Shino-yaki/ The 18th cent ware decribed as 'ornamental with golddust and designs of plants etc./ Alexander Collection', 'Shino/ The late ware' en 'Afgebeeld in Transactions and Proceedings of the Japan Society Vol. XXXII/ 1934-35, blz 28/ Coll. Westendorp'.
