Description

Koning Saul begroet David als de overwinnaar van Goliath. Buiten een stadspoort verwelkomt Saul met zijn gevolg en een grote menigte David, die voor hem knielt. Achter David een aantal soldaten met vaandels en het zwaard en de helm van Goliath. Links op de voorgrond ligt het afgehouwen hoofd van de verslagen Filistijn.
