Description

Twee zittende vrouwen, van wie één op de rug gezien, gekleed in japonnen 'à la romaine' met korte mouwen, hoge taille en sleep. Verdere accessoires: oorbel, collier, vouwwaaier (links), sjaal (rechts), platte schoenen met puntige neuzen. De prent maakt deel uit van een reeks van 20 modeprenten, uitgegeven door Gide, Parijs, An VII, 1797-1799.
