Description

Een courtisane maakt een miniatuurlandschap van zand en stenen op een groot rond blad voor haar op de grond. Een tweede vrouw staat naast haar, met daarachter een kamerscherm met afbeelding van een pijnboom omgeven door gouden wolken. Het miniatuurlandschap stelt Matsushima voor, één van de drie beroemde landschappen in Japan. Links twee gedichten.
